June is here and Canadians rejoice, our Duty Free Allowances have gone up! Great news for those 3 - 5 day Bus Trip enthusiasts.

Effective June 1st, the government has increased our allowances for what we can bring back after a shorter visit. Here's a quick overview:

• Overnight trips were $50 –> now $200
• 2-7 day trips were $400 –> now $800
• 7+ day trips were $750 –> now $800

The most disappointing was that day trips remain with zero allowance. I also would have liked to seen the 7+ day limit to increase further.
